An express cannabis delivery service near you is a licensed dispensary that brings your order to your door, usually within 30 to 90 minutes of confirmation. The service is local by definition: the shop must hold a license to deliver into your city, and your street address has to fall inside its delivery zone. Speed comes from proximity, not from the app you use.
Is Express Cannabis Delivery Legit?
How express delivery differs from standard delivery
Standard delivery often means a same-day window of several hours. Express narrows that to a shorter window, and some shops cap express orders by distance. A shop five minutes away can promise 45 minutes. A shop across the metro area cannot, no matter what its menu claims.
Express Cannabis Delivery Minimum Order
Check whether your address is covered
- Enter your full street address, not just the ZIP code, on the dispensary delivery page.
- Read the delivery zone map or radius the shop lists.
- Confirm the shop holds a state and local license to deliver in your jurisdiction.
- Check the posted order minimum before you build a cart.
- Note the cutoff time for express windows that day.
What to have ready at the door
- Government photo ID showing you are 21 or older, or a valid medical card where applicable.
- The phone number tied to your order, since drivers call or text on arrival.
- Payment the shop accepts. Many cannabis delivery orders are cash only, though some now take debit.
- A safe, legal place to hand off. Drivers cannot leave packages unattended.
Fees, minimums, and taxes
Express service adds a delivery fee, often a few dollars or a flat rate, and some shops charge more for short windows or long distances. Taxes apply the same way they do in store. A $5 delivery fee on a $40 order is a 12.5 percent surcharge on top of tax, so compare the landed total, not the menu price.

Compare local options before you order
- List three licensed shops whose zones include your address.
- Compare delivery fees, minimums, and quoted arrival windows.
- Check product availability against your actual cart items.
- Read recent reviews for on-time arrivals and order accuracy.
- Save the fastest reliable shop as your default.
When express is not available
Some cities prohibit cannabis delivery outright, and some allow it only from storefronts inside city limits. If no licensed shop covers your address, express delivery does not exist for you yet, and any site promising it is not a legal operator. Order from the closest licensed retailer instead, or use in-store pickup.
