Understanding Trichomes
Trichomes are tiny, hair-like structures on cannabis buds that produce resin. They contain the plant's essential oils, including cannabinoids and terpenes.
Harvest Time Indicators
Trichomes typically start clear and become cloudy as they mature. The transition from clear to cloudy amber indicates the optimal harvest time.

Clear to Cloudy Amber
When most of the trichomes on the buds turn cloudy amber, it's time to harvest. This ensures a high-quality cannabis product with potent effects.

Why Clear to Cloudy Amber?
Trichomes contain the highest concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes when they are cloudy amber. Harvesting too early or too late can result in lower potency and quality.
